My name is Vikki and I am the owner and founder of Playa Paper. I have been addicted to stationery since I was six years old when my dad gave me my first note pad with puppies bouncing off the pages. My heart burst with happiness then and it still does every time I see another beautiful piece of paper. My goal when starting my shop was to recreate the same thrill for my customers one handcrafted greeting card, invitation, and note card at a time.

Playa means “beach” in Spanish and my inspirations come from the beaches of California where I started my shop in 2013 to Florida where I moved to in 2017. I currently design, make and print my greeting cards and stationery products from my home studio in sunny St. Pete, FL. I am always searching for the highest quality paper and vibrant colorful envelopes to use in our paper goods so my customers can receive the best stationery products in the marketplace.

I started Playa Paper after a successful career as a food and beverage marketing executive. It was fun, but cannot compare to how I spend my days now: doing what I love. When I’m not making paper goods, I can be found at the post office picking up the latest postage stamps, enjoying a walk in our beautiful neighborhood or snuggling with my husband watching Korean Dramas together.
